Balayage (BAH-LAY-AHJ)
Balayage is a French word meaning to sweep. With Balayage hair coloring, you will get natural, sun-kissed highlights. Dark portions of hair are left on the bottom to create dimension and a more natural look.
Ombre (AHM-BRAY)
Ombre is a French word meaning shaded or shading. With Ombre color, the roots are typically darker and then gradually lighten mid-shart to the ends.
